Consultant Sales Manager

The main responsability  of the Consultant Sales Manager is to expand I-Gard sales and reach in North America by generating opportunities through product specification with consulting engineering firms. 

The position is currently based in Mississauga, ON. However, the candidate may be based in any major city in North America. The position requires a self motivated individual with a strong Electrical Engineering background, with experience in technical presentations of electrical products used in industrial power distribution to Electrical Engineering Consultants preferably in the use of protection relays or power distribution equipment.

Preference will be given to individuals with a Professional Engineering designation in addition to the technical skills the candidate must posses excellent communication skills be adaptable to work in a dynamic environment, and goal oriented.

The Key areas of Responsibility of the position are:

  • The specification of I-Gard products by electrical engineering consultants and end users of I-Gard products in their projects.
  • Participation with other regional sales managers and independent sales representatives in educational events directed to the electrical engineering community.
  • The provision of technical support and application support through to ensure the correct implementation of I-Gard products by the end user.
  • Liaise with I-Gard engineers in the preparation of drawings related to projects where I-Gard products are specified.
  • Participation with other team members in the production of technical literature, application guides and product manuals geared towards positioning of I-Gard products in the engineering community.

Performance Measurements: Successful specification of I-Gard products by engineering consultants, the market share of I-Gard products, brand equity, lead generation and continual sales growth.
